Why we built it
Everyone checks the clock at some point in the afternoon. Doing the maths in your head ("it's , so that's... two hours and twenty-two minutes?") is surprisingly annoying. HowLongUntil5.com does it for you and keeps it on screen, so you can plan the rest of your day around a real number.
It works for more than the classic 9-to-5. You can set any start and finish time, including overnight shifts, which makes it useful for nurses, retail and hospitality staff, warehouse teams, students counting down to the end of class and remote workers who want a firm end to the day.
